Kind Words

We love to see our puppies go to loving new families and are always happy to see them enjoying their new homes. Below you can learn how our puppies adjust to their new homes and how their new families love them.

Hi Dan & Julia,
Thanks for the e-mail inquiring about Daisy (from Karlie’s first litter). Daisy is absolutely wonderful and adorable. She is very loving, cuddly and playful (her tail never stops wagging). She has an easygoing temperament, is friendly with everyone she meets, and loves to play catch, tug of war, and chase. Daisy can play catch forever and boy, can she jump – there is definitely retriever blood in her. We have a big family, so birthday parties involve a lot of people and kids. Daisy plays with everyone and is never put our by the big crowds or kids.
Daisy weighs about 18 pounds now , and has the softest coat we have ever known. Everyone compares her coat to an ultra soft teddy bear. The coat is a caramel colour. We are attaching a few pictures of Daisy taken throughout the past year.
We should also mention how smart she is – she has actually learned to play hide and seek with our son. When someone says; ‘Where’s Adam?’ Daisy’s ear perk up and she goes looking for him until she finds him, the she licks him and wags her tail. She graduated top of her puppy school class and was very easy to train.
We live on 5 acres of property, so she spends a lot of time running and playing outside, which she absolutely loves. She’s not a big fan of the deer when they come to visit, however.
Hope all is well with you and the kennel. We look at the photos of the puppies that were in Daisy’s litter, as well as the other dogs. We have given the name of your kennel to many interested families, who have also fallen in love with our little pup.
We are sending quite a few pictures but we just couldn’t resist. We wanted you to see that Daisy is doing great and how much we love having her in our family. WE CAN’T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR DAISY AND HOW WONDERFUL SHE IS. WE LOVE HER AND SHE HAS CERTAINLY FIT RIGHT IN!
She is perfect!

Dear Dan & Julia,
Our little Pierre has transitioned very well into his new family and life. We have been spending lots of time on the beach and meeting new people. He is the sweetest little pup and our lives are so much richer. He has had a few sessions with a trainer and is such a bright star. We love him so so incredibly much!! We will continue to send photos from time to time. When we arrived to our cottage, the kids in the neighbourhood did the little painted rock with his name on it and made hand made cards welcoming Pierre. He is a pretty special little boy and is quite social!
Hope you are all well!
Warmly,
— Shelley & Brad

Hi Dan,
I just wanted to thank you and your family for such a positive experience picking up your beautiful puppy! We have named him Juno and he has settled in extremely well. I will definitely be recommending you to everyone who is looking to get a puppy in the future!
— Abigail Winter

Dan, I hope all is well!
We just wanted to connect and pass along that Charlie (male #4 from Lotte’s last litter) is doing very well and adjusting to his new home. He is happy, healthy, very eager to please and easy to train! A great and loved addition to our family.
Thank you again,
— Ben, Jen, Logan and Michael
Dan,
I thought you might like to see Reggie at 16 weeks. He is now 33 lbs and as you can see he is quite a solid pup! He has a calm (for a puppy), loving disposition and is a wonderful addition to our family. Reggie is a real credit to his breeders!
Thank you
— Karen Haines

Had this day marked on my calendar to ensure I did not forget to send you a picture of our puppy purchased from your kennel as today (Dec 9th) is her birthday. Here is a picture of Harlee … she is roughly 55 lbs now and is doing great.
Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to have her in our family!

Just wanted to send you a few photos of our puppy. We named him Murphy. He is a very smart and loving puppy. He rings a bell at the back door to go pee outside and in the last 9 days has only had one accident which was my fault because I couldn’t get to the door fast enough. I’d say that pretty impressive for an 11 week old puppy. He is growing fast and loves his food. He sleeps quite a bit but when he is awake he is full of energy. He is well behaved but will be going to Basic Obedience training once he has his second shots next week.
Thank you very much for everything!

Hello Dan and Julia,
This past week we have celebrated Alicia’s birthday as well as Milo’s 4 month birthday!
We wanted to share a bit of our celebration. Hope all is well there in Monkton!

Hi Dan & family,
I hope all is well with you. I just wanted to give an update on Milo (puppy #7 from Serena’s litter). He is doing amazing! He is no longer the quiet pup we all thought he was, but he is full of life and is fitting in very well. We are so happy to have him and are looking forward to a full life with him.
Thank you so much for everything. Your initial care for the puppies and your kind dealings with us has made a phenomenal experience!
— Alicia Scarsella

Just wanted to give you an update on Ace. He is doing great and adjusting well. Thanks again for the wonderful addition to our family!

Charlie is doing great! He’s slowly getting used to the city life and has been making lots of new friends. We went to the vet and he gave Charlie a clean bill of health. We have decided we don’t need to sign the health guarantee. If he gets sick in the first 2 years, we will deal with it and won’t come to you for a refund or a new puppy. This guy is too precious for that. Here are some pictures – he’s grown already! Also, he is great at night and hardly cries in his crate.
